Business Counseling

The Rio Hondo College Business Division has secured special grant funding through Perkins V (VTEA) to pay for counseling services for our business students.  This program allows students to receive both business and general counseling from counselors located in our business division offices.  Counseling services have proved to drastically increase the probability that a student starting a course of study will actually finish their program and receive a certificate of completion or a degree. 

Our counselors are able to offer our students up to 45 minute consultations where they can receive general college counseling advice including education plans, program information, graduation criteria, vocational placement options, and more.  This counseling is available on-site in the business division offices--office B-100J.  Students may also contact our business division secretary to make appointments to visit a business counselor @ (562) 463-7359.
